Are the shoes handmade?
Yes, 100%! Each pair is crafted by skilled artisans using techniques

Are they limited quantities?
Yes. We produce a maximum of 50 pairs per design and color to avoid mass production, promote conscious consumption, and offer exclusivity.
What makes Zapatera Caribeña special?
Our shoes are designed to be conversation pieces: expressive, unique, and purposeful. They celebrate Caribbean identity, craftsmanship, and style.
What does ethical production mean?
We work in workshops with fair conditions, we respect artisanal rhythms, we prioritize quality materials and we avoid waste.
Where are the shoes made and how long does it take?
We produce them in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Each pair takes between 2 and 3 days to make.

SIZE, FIT AND COMFORT
How does the size run?
Our shoe last is true to size in all designs, except for the ALAS and SENDA designs, which run one size larger. For example, if you wear a size 7.5, we recommend ordering a size 7. If you wear a size 7 and have a narrow foot, we recommend ordering one size down.
What if they're a little tight?
A slight adjustment is normal, unless the heel is too tight. High-end leather will stretch with use. If you experience pain or numbness, please contact us.
Are they comfortable to wear all day?
Yes. We design structures that provide support, stability, and comfort. However, every foot is unique; if you have any questions, please write to us.
If my size is out of stock, can I request it?
Yes! We can make it to order, provided we haven't reached our exclusivity limit. Approximate time: 2 months.
Does leather stretch or give way?
Yes, leather is a high-quality material that molds to the shape of your foot with wear. If you want to speed up the breaking-in process, you can put on thick socks and then the shoes.
Walk around a bit and check without the stocking if it's adjusting to your preference.

How do I care for suede?
